YHA power!
Hey everyone, this is minh and this is my first time posting a blog ever. Life has been hard, lots of school work, volunteer work, other volunteer work, family life, and so on. Busy life, but lovin’ every minute of it.
Okay so now life is out of the way, YHA is doing well. We conducted our first “official” meeting today with an attendance of over 10+ people–10-20 percent of that were non members, so that was refreshing and surprisingly pleasant to see. We went over titles and tasks and discussed the future of YHA and how we could improve. I have to say, after that meeting, we are MUCH more organized and I can see a huge jump in improvement in the recent future.
We also discussed our upcoming projects which I won’t reveal to the public as of yet–at least until we get things finalized. BUT I will reveal some of my upcoming projects that are aimed to be completed and aired on our main site www.youtube.com/youthhealth
The following videos below are in progress with a release date by end of summer (September 25). So keep checking back on this blog or better yet, keep watching out for our videos on youtube!

Introduction to YHA
My cousin Minh and I have started a non-profit organization called the Youth Health Alliance (Okay so it may sound corny, but its for a good cause). I’m not an expert on health, but this way I can help others, while learning more about taking care of myself and prepare myself for a future occupation in the health care field.
You may want to know what the heck the “Youth Health Alliance” does? Well we promote health awareness and cover pretty much every aspect we can. We decided the best way to disseminate information was to broadcast videos through youtube, myspace, facebook, and other social networking sites. These communication mediums are the most widely used for the targeted demographic we are trying to reach.
Our goal is to help the youth today build a foundation, so that they can construct a healthy lifestyle early on during adolescence. It is is very difficult to break old habits later in life, this is why we stress the importance of eating healthy and exercising regularly at an early age. Thus, we hope to engage the youth by taking a different approach with social marketing.
I mean think about it… do you want me to hand you a brochure containing information, or would you like to just sit back and relax and watch us (hopefully) entertain you, inspire you, motivate you, and maybe learn something new?
So now that my rant is over, check out our youtube channel (www.youtube.com/youthhealth) and subscribe!
